Terms of Service

munui.ai is a Korean-language self-reflection and entertainment service. Its core features are:

• Drawing-based tests: you submit drawings, a short profile (such as name or nickname, gender, and date and time of birth), and free-form answers, and the Service generates an interpretive result about your emotional patterns.
• AI companion chat: an AI character called “Muni” (무늬) chats with you based on your test results.
• Supplementary interpretive elements, such as traditional Eastern birth-date readings and tarot-style card draws, may be used as creative input for results and conversations.

The Service is provided for self-reflection and entertainment purposes only. Test results and AI conversations are not medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, or financial advice, and are not a diagnosis or treatment of any condition. AI-generated content can be inaccurate or inapplicable to your situation.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a professional or an emergency service immediately — in the United States, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline); in South Korea, call 109 (자살예방상담전화) or 112/119 in an emergency.

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
• Some features can be used without an account. To purchase paid features or keep your results and conversations, you sign in with a Google or Kakao account.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us at hi@munui.ai if you suspect unauthorized use.

Basic tests and a limited number of chat turns are free. Paid features include unlocking the full result report and purchasing additional chat turns (“credits”).

• Free chat allowances are tracked per test and may be limited per network address, and may replenish after a waiting period.
• Prices, contents, and quantities of paid products are displayed at checkout and may change with notice. Purchased credits are added to your account upon successful payment.
• Credits and unlocked reports are licenses to use features of the Service; they are not money, have no cash value, and are not transferable.

Payments are processed by third-party payment processors, currently Stripe. We do not collect or store your full card number or bank account details. Your payment information is handled by the processor under its own terms and privacy policy. Prices may be displayed and charged in Korean Won (KRW) or other currencies, and your payment provider may apply currency conversion or fees.

Refunds for paid products are governed by our Refund Policy at munui.ai/refund (provided in Korean, as the Service is offered in Korean). In summary: unused credits may be refunded within the stated period, partially used purchases may be refunded on a pro-rated basis, and content that has already been consumed or viewed may not be refundable. To request a refund, contact hi@munui.ai.

You retain ownership of the drawings, text, and other content you submit (“User Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and process your User Content solely to operate and improve the Service — including transmitting it to the AI providers we use to generate your results and replies. If you create a share link, the shared result (and the conversation, if you choose to include it) becomes viewable by anyone with the link until you stop sharing.

• Do not use the Service in a way that violates any law or the rights of others.
• Do not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful to others.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service, or circumvent usage limits or payment requirements.
• Do not use automated means to access the Service except as permitted by us.

The Service — including its design, artwork, characters (including Muni), software, and generated report formats — is owned by Little Samo or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for your User Content, we grant you only a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Service as intended.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LITTLE SAMO WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of your account and data by contacting hi@munui.ai. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service (or any feature) if you violate these Terms or where reasonably necessary to protect the Service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7, and 9–14) will survive.

We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes to the Terms, we will provide notice through the Service (for example, by updating the date above). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact us at hi@munui.ai and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where the law of your place of residence grants you non-waivable consumer protections or venue rights.
